Forest Hills Schools are closed or delayed because of snow.
OUR PARISH WEB SITE
Have you visited our parish web site recently? Take a look. You will
find there a link to an inspiring video clip from Archbishop Timothy
Dolan, Archbishop of New York, on the earthquake in Haiti. There is also
a link to the Bishops Committee on Divine Worship web site that has both
the daily Mass scripture readings, as well as a reflection on them for
every day. Go to www.sjfchurch.org
and check it out.
MARDI GRAS MINISTRY FAIR
On the Sunday before Lent begins - next Sunday - we will have a ministry
fair at Saint John Fisher. As we prepare to enter into the Lenten
season, what a great opportunity to check out the different
opportunities for service to Saint John Fisher Parish and beyond.
Faith formation for both adults and youth, outreach to both parishioners
in need as well as the wider community; liturgical ministry ... these
are among the variety of gifts and ministries you might consider
becoming involved in at our parish. The ministry fair will provide you
with some ideas and opportunities to become involved in parish life here
at Saint John Fisher.
Next week-end be sure to stop by the parish hall after Mass and consider
the various areas of ministry which help us to live out our parish
mission to be centered in the Eucharist while carrying out the work of
the gospel in our lives. There will be displays with all the ministries
of the parish, along with people who are eager to share what it is their
area of ministry does. There will be plenty of food to enjoy as you
consider the various ministries here at the parish. Be sure to join us
after Masses on February 13 & 14.
BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS!
Attention all expectant mothers and fathers and new parents. We will be
having a Baptism Preparation class on Sunday, February 21st at 9 am.
This class is a requirement before your first child receives the
sacrament of Baptism. If you will be attending this class, please call
Terri Wellman @ 474-5064 or email her at twell@fuse.net.
CISE (Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund)
For almost 30 years, the CISE schools have been providing a traditional
Catholic education to children living in some of Cincinnati’s most
under-served neighborhoods. Through the generosity of our community of

quality education in a safe environment for the young people in our
community who need it most.
YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Our collection for this fund will be on February 20-21st. There is a
special envelope in your packet or pick one up from the stacks we have
in the gathering space and transition area.
