CELEBRATING YOUR 25TH OR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY IN 2010?
If you are celebrating 25 or 50 years of marriage during the year of 2010 you will receive a certificate from the Archbishop. There are forms for you to complete in the transition area and return by mail or drop in the collection basket by March 1st. You will receive a special invitation to the Mass celebrated on May 1st if you are celebrating your 50th anniversary.

CISE (Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund)
Our collection for CISE is today. Please drop your offering in the baskets provided. YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! to fast from wasted time and to feast on honest work;

LENT MEANS its FISH FRY TIME!
St. Margaret of Cortona Church (Prince of Peace School) 6000 Murray Rd. Cincinnati, 45227 will be serving a delicious fish dinner and many ala carte items including pizza from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm every Friday during Lent. A book fair will be held during several of these Fridays. There will be special appearances by The Cat in the Hat on March 5 and Geronimo Stilton on March 12th. Pictures with one of these characters will be available. Call Prince of Peace School office at 271-8288 during school hours for more information.

Immaculate Heart of Mary’s fish fry begins at 4:30 and continues until 7:30 pm. the Fridays of Lent.
St. Veronica has a fish fry from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. They offer Stations of the Cross at 7 pm in church each Friday evening during Lent.

LENTEN REMINDERS – FAST and ABSTINENCE
Good Friday, April 2, will be a day of abstinence from meat and also a day of fast, that is, limited to a single full meal. The other Fridays of the season of Lent are days of abstinence from meat. The law of abstinence binds all Catholics 14 years and older. The law of fasting binds all Catholics from their 18th birthday until their 59th birthday.

LENTEN JOURNEY THROUGH the BIBLE
Genesis to Revelation in eight 90 minute sessions. Jeff Cavin’s video series is an entertaining and educational look at the Book many of us wish we knew more about! A light and easy way to keep that promise you made to yourself to learn more about Scripture “someday”. Classes held at Queen of Angels Montessori School near Mariemont Square. GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!
Good Samaritan Hospital in Clifton would like you to join them as a volunteer. They need volunteers as Eucharistic Ministers, in the flower room, gift Shop, Emergency Department, patient transportation, and other areas. Training is provided.
